The Nieuwe Tolbrug in Voorburg, the Netherlands, is a drawbridge over the river Vliet from the year 1891/1892. At the time of construction, the bridge was designed as a fixed bridge. In 1919 the bridge was converted into a drawbridge. The bridge is a national monument. The bridge is located opposite the Drievliet family park next to the point where the Vliet to Leiden, the Haagvliet and the Delftse Vliet meet. The New Toll Bridge can only be used by pedestrians. The narrow clearance width of 7.50 metres requires steering skills from the barges who sail from the Haagvliet towards Leiden. On summer days, the bridge is popular with the swimming youth in the area.
