The Commandery of St. John is a former commandery of the Order of St. John at Hofstraat 3-5 in the Dutch town of Montfoort. The building is a national monument and is currently used as a banquet hall for weddings and parties.
The commandery was founded in 1544 by bailiff Bernard van Duven and originally consisted of a chapel, cloister and a commander's house. He appointed Gerrit Zas as first commander. The buildings are built in late Gothic style with decorations in Renaissance style. The architects cannot be identified with certainty. Willem Noort and Cornelis Frederiksz are mentioned. The commandery was only in use for a short time and was secularized in 1630.
