The Odapark is a city park with an art center of the same name on the outskirts of Venray. The nature reserve connects to the Vlakwater urban forest in the east. It is a park on sloping drifting sand, where a number of old trees and avenues can also be found. The 19-hectare park used to be owned by the Ursuline Sisters, who ran a girls' boarding school in Venray, called Jerusalem. The park was designed by the Sisters in 1899 and named after Saint Oda, the patron saint of Venray. The 19th century Tea House and various historic gazebos date back to the time of the Sisters. In 1981 the park came into the possession of the municipality of Venray, since then it has been a public park.
