Peaceful House

B&B 'Casa Tranquila' (quiet house) is beautifully located along the dike by the village of Ooij, which has a long history. In a former dairy barn, the theme rooms El Toro and El Caballo have been created, inspired by Spanish Andalusia. The rooms are equipped with various amenities and each accommodates 2 adults. A baby cot is optional. Furthermore, there is a spacious shared living kitchen and covered terrace for both rooms. With nature at the doorstep and animals on the farm, it is a true delight here.

The B&B is located in the Ooijpolder. The Ooijpolder is an important part of the nature reserve Gelderse Poort between the river Waal and the N325, with Germany to the east. A spectacular environment at the foot of the ridge and a stone's throw from the Netherlands' oldest city: Nijmegen! This former marshland still has large areas of land that are underwater at times despite the construction of dikes, hosting a unique flora and fauna. It is no coincidence that you will find many walking and cycling routes in the floodplains and hills of Berg en Dal.
