Saint Isidore Chapel
Saint Isidore is the patron of farmers.
Isidore lived as a simple farmer in the vicinity of Madrid.
With his wife he lived an exemplary life of labor and prayer.
He is pictured here with a team. Legend has it that two angels did his ploughing so that he could pray to God in the meantime. He died in 1130 and was canonized by Pope Gregory XV in 1622.
His feast day is 15 /May.
To complete the project: "design of the southern Markdal phase II", this field chapel was designed and realized by volunteers from the region.
