An unexpected gem, who expects a town like Axel to have such a great museum.
You'll feel right at home; Friendliness is key here. The building exudes atmosphere; Beautifully extended with a piece of new construction.
They work with so-called temporary exhibitions (see website museum) and part of the staff is dressed in Axel Costume. They give a detailed explanation of the Zeeland costume of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The knowledge and skills of the staff are very good!
