Nieuw Bergen (North Limburg dialect: Ni-j-Berge) is a place in the north of Dutch Limburg and is the largest village in the municipality of Bergen, located approximately 10 kilometers north of Venray and about 30 kilometers south of Nijmegen. Nieuw Bergen, together with Bergen, Heukelom, and Aijen, has 5,370 inhabitants (in 2009). The village is surrounded by forest. Nieuw Bergen relatively recently emerged to the east of Bergen.
