Rennemig-Beersdal is a neighborhood in the northern part of the Dutch municipality of Heerlen. The number of inhabitants is 5,025. It includes the districts Groot Rennemig, Beersdal, and Schelsberg, as well as the hamlet of Vrank. The neighborhood contains the Rijksbeschermd gezicht Heerlen - Beersdal. In addition to monumental houses from the miners’ colony, there is also a new housing development on the former spoil tip of coal mine Oranje-Nassau III. A monument has been placed at the location of the shaft of this mine near the primary school Mijn Spoor. To the northwest lies Koumenberg walking park, the former spoil tip of the mine.
