De Ginkel is a heathland area with an agricultural enclave surrounded by forests in the Veluwe region of the Gelderland municipality of Ede.
The area is located east of Ede on both sides of the N224 road. The heathland to the south of the N224 is called Ginkelse Heide and the area to the north of it is Eder Heide. During World War I, a Belgian refugee camp was established on the Eder Hei. The Belgian Monument still commemorates this today.
