Nieuw Wolfslaar is a new housing district located in the municipality of Breda, adjacent to the IJpelaar neighborhood to the west, separated from the village center of Bavel by the A27.
Residents of Nieuw Wolfslaar currently make use of the facilities in the Burcht shopping center, healthcare services, primary schools, etc., in the IJpelaar neighborhood and the village of Bavel.
The district is connected to the village of Bavel by two viaducts over the A27 to the north and south of the district. A bicycle bridge over the A27 was completed in 2011. The neighborhood is protected from noise pollution by an 18-meter high and 1336-meter long noise barrier. This noise barrier incorporates a mechanical system against water nuisance.
750 new homes have been built.
