The Balij or Westergo bridge is a steel bicycle and pedestrian bridge over the A12 in Zoetermeer. It is named after the nearby nature reserve De Balij. The architecture of the bridge shows the force gradient of the structure. The main structure is on one side under the deck and on the other side above the deck and thus follows exactly the moment course of the bridge.
