The St. Lambert's Church in Veghel is a large three-aisled cruciform basilica in neo-Gothic style. The church was designed by Pierre Cuypers and was built between 1856 and 1862. In 1863 the church was consecrated by Archbishop-Metropolitan Joannes Zwijsen, after which the church was inaugurated. The church is an early highlight in Cuypers' career. The parish of Lambertus in Veghel already existed in 1310.
