Hiking area with adventure forest, nature education and lots of play nature on the edge of the Schadijker Bossen. Entrance at the Lorbaan

This area used to be a vast heathland-peel landscape. Via paths (drifts) the shepherd went with his sheep to the moors. Beekeepers placed their hives here. Nowadays Heere Peel is a walking and recreation area with various landscape elements from the old Peel and the sheep and bees are also back. The nearby pancake house Aan de Drift is a kelin education center, starting point of an informative walking tour.
