B&B De Linie

Camping De Linie is located between Kesteren and Opheusden, centrally located in our country in the beautiful Betuwe. The accessibility by road and rail is excellent. In addition to the regular guests, the campsite also offers plenty of space for walkers and cyclists who find their way at their leisure on beautiful dike roads and between dozens of orchards. This family business has been run by the Brienissenssen family for years. For more than 20 years, the family has been working on the construction of this campsite full of character.

Camping De Linie is located on historic land. Adjacent to the campsite is a striking remnant of Fort de Spees. A fort as part of a defensive line across the Betuwe, originally adjacent to the Grebbe Line. The outer part of the fort was repaired at the same time as the dike reinforcement. The inner part of the dike has been completely restored. The canal is at depth and the seepage dike has been restored to its former glory. The bunkers are freely accessible and have remained untouched over the years.

It all started without a canteen, watchtower, shower and swimming facilities. Today, the next generation works in the company and son Marco has set up a gym (BASE Lifestyle) that fits seamlessly with the philosophy of Camping De Linie.

We want to give everyone a carefree holiday or weekend away by being hospitable. We want to give everyone a warm welcome and there will always be a cup of coffee ready for you upon arrival.

With us you can choose a charming Bed & Breakfast apartment, a chalet. De Linie has twenty tourist pitches available for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes. Unique is the location of the spacious and well-maintained camping pitches under the fruit trees and nurseries that are so characteristic of the Betuwe landscape. In the spring with a beautiful blossom, in summer and autumn full of delicious apples and pears. De Linie also offers swimming and fishing opportunities on site. A cozy canteen provides the cosiness around the corner. From this central point, a relaxation committee regularly organizes alternating activities for young and old.
