The Koningskerkje has developed since its inception into a valued stage for visual arts by artists and visitors alike, thanks to its exhibition activities. The simple, understated interior with its unique light effects makes the Koningskerkje an exhibition space with its own character. In recent years, special exhibitions have been regularly organized, which both the public and the exhibiting artists reflect upon with satisfaction. Annually, two longer exhibitions (five weekends) are organized featuring works by professional artists. Additionally, under the banner of Art in Sight, an average of five short exhibitions per year is held showcasing works by amateur and professional artists. Furthermore, the Koningskerkje is part of the Chapel Route, which hosts a biennial theme exhibition around the 'Art of Believing' in various chapels and churches in the municipality of Boxmeer.
