The route first begins with Steenbergen, which is not named Steenbergen for nothing. You can also visit a dolmen (D1) here. Afterwards, the route passes some Esdorpen and actually makes a large bend around the valley of the Grootediep and Oostervoortse/Kleine diep, the former field reclamation area.
In the last part, the route runs along the marked forest Norgerholt to the last Esdorp Eén and has given a good impression of the Noordenveld landscape of Esdorpen and former lowland peat reclamation.
