The Lint is an eight kilometer route in the new housing district of Leidsche Rijn in Utrecht. It is an average six meters wide asphalt strip that runs through the entire Máxima park. When you follow the route, you will naturally come across all the beautiful spots in the park, such as the Haarrijnse Plas, Buitenhof, the Butterfly Garden in the Binnenhof, the Vikingrijn, and archaeological sites. The Lint is daily 'inhabited' by walkers, playing children, skaters, cyclists, joggers, and other recreational users.
At four points along the course, so-called TimePoints have been installed. With the help of a special chip, you can read your lap times on the displays along the route or at home via the internet.
