Montferland 3 out of 5 's-Heerenberg

This walk begins in the historic town of ’s-Heerenberg and takes you through fields and pastures, through forests and over hills. Along the way, you will see old buildings and landscape features that tell about the history of Montferland.
The circular walk is the third route in a series of 5 and overlaps the middle section of the longer route from Elten to Wehl.

’s-Heerenberg is located in Montferland on the southeastern slope of the ridge. The parking lot at Molenstraat 2 is a suitable starting point for this circular walk. In the immediate vicinity of the parking lot, you will find shops and restaurants.
If there is no space available in this free parking lot, there is usually still space along the nearby Slotlaan. Another option is, coming from the main road, the first parking lot on Klinkerstraat. ’s-Heerenberg is also accessible from the train station in Doetinchem by bus line 24, or from Emmerich Bahnhof by Line 91.
