A beautiful bike ride at any time of the year with, if you think you've earned it, a tasty reward in the historic Beaufort House. The route takes you through the forests of Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. After 6 km you reach M aarn, which only developed into a real village a century ago. You then drive via the Kampweg in Doorn over the more than two centuries old post road back to the starting point in the area of the former French-Batavian army camp (1804-1808), which was located north of the current N224 near Austerlitz . Along the way you pass the beautiful Asparagus Field. The history of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug is described at one of the sights.
