There is a lot to see along the way on this varied and fairly flat tour: historic city centres, remains of marl quarrying, the typical South Limburg hilly landscape and the idyllic Geuldal. With the exception of a passage of about 500 meters, the route runs over asphalted paths and mostly car-free streets. In the Valkenburg area there is often a lot of activity on weekends during the excursion season.
