The bridge from 27 AD was originally built over the narrowest part of the Tungelroyse stream. It was reconstructed a while ago a bit further along to avoid damaging the original remains in the ground. You walk between fields and meadows, and here and there a small forest area adds variety. You also pass by the meandering Tungelroyse stream and come across a small chapel and a cross in a hornbeam hedge.
