You don't cycle the Christina Path in a loop. Unless you cycle back and forth, you stop at a different point than where you started. You have to think about that. The train is one of the options. Fortunately, there are dozens of stations along the route where you can get on or off with your bike, provided you have a bike ticket.

This help map for the Christina Path shows 36 railway stations along the route. Under the heading 'Places of Interest' you will find information about locations and timetables. 

From the Netherlands you can take the intercity Amsterdam-Berlin to Osnabrück, but you will have to book in advance. It is cheaper and easier to travel from Hengelo or Oldenzaal to Osnabrück with the regional Eurobahn. If you want to go to Münster, take the Eurobahn in Enschede. And between Osnabrück and Münster the Teuto-Bahn runs (also serviced by Eurobahn).

Please take into account the rules that transport companies apply for taking your bicycle on the train.

In the Netherlands, an important restriction is that bicycles are only allowed during off-peak hours. In addition, in July and August, bicycles are not allowed on domestic journeys on the intercity to and from Brussels and Berlin. Consult the Dutch rules on the NS website , which apply to all train journeys with Dutch carriers.

There are no restrictions for rush hour in Germany. However, you must always make a reservation on long-distance trains (IC, ICE, EC). Consult the Deutsche Bahn website for the rules that apply in Germany .

In Belgium too, there are no restrictive measures for rush hour. But the bike can always be refused if there is no space. Read the Belgian rules on the NMBS website.
