AzureBeautiful walk on the shell paths through the Katwijk dunes of "Berkheide". A small part of the route leads over a sandy path. The nature reserve is named after the former fishing village of Berkhey, which was completely flooded in 1600. The beautiful walking area is also an important water extraction area. The walk starts at the Cantineweg, located between the walking area and the new zanderij district. There are parking spaces along the road.
