Who wouldn't want to take a walk from France to Egypt? It's possible in the municipality of Ooststellingwerf. Two hamlets bear the same names as the streets in Nijeberkoop. These are two very green hamlets, full of meadows, through which you can walk for 8.6 kilometers on paths. You start on a real estate, walk through a beautiful nature reserve, and even pass a vanished village.
The route is entirely marked with 6-sided route signs.
