Village Walks Tytsjerksteradiel

The Noble walk through Oentsjerk and Mûnein - part of the Village Walks Tytsjerksteradiel - is a total of six kilometers long. During the walk, you will pass by Stania State, the artwork The Flaaksrûpelers, and the Romanesque church in Oentsjerk. The route can be extended with a walk through the park surrounding Stania State (not signposted). A map of the park is available at the parking lot.

Avenues, estates, and villages

This route takes you through the green landscape of De Trynwâlden, where quiet villages and stately avenues alternate. From the starting point, you walk into an area known for its small scale, history, and natural charm. Along the way, you will pass former states and park forests that remind you of the noble past of the region.

Stories of the landscape

In and around the villages, you will discover traces of old crafts and Frisian legends. These stories are still visible in the images and monuments along the route.
