Cycle route through and along the Weerribben offered by Fietsactief.
Together with the Wieden, the Weerribben National Park forms the most important peat bog area in Western Europe. On the road between vibrating peat, grass snakes and the fire butterfly.

You can reach this area by train via the train station in Steenwijk. You can connect to the route in Steenwijkerwold.
For bike or canoe rental you can go to De Gele Lis, Hoogeweg 27 a, Ossenzijl (indicated on the map along the route).
