In 2014, it was celebrated that the Netherlands had been liberated for 70 years. Experiencing an ultimate feeling of freedom is taking a bike ride along memorials. The municipality of Eijsden-Margraten has landmarks in various places, which remind us of our liberation. From the well-known American cemetery in Margraten, to a small monument at the foot of the Kutersteen, which reminds of a fallen soldier.
The route is more than 43.5 kilometers long and therefore also easy to do for the less trained cyclist. The route is exclusively on paved roads.
