AzureThis cycling and walking route leads you past many monuments such as churches, castles, monasteries, farms and large mansions; But also because of the beautiful nature. Think of the meadows with grazing cows, the standard fruit trees with old fruit varieties such as 'Eijsdener and Gronsvelder Klumpkes', but also of the nature reserves such as the Savelsbos, the Eijsder Beemden, the Mescher Plukbos, the Europapark and walking park 'het Tiende Vrij'. Of course you will also pass several cozy restaurants and terraces where you can enjoy the Burgundian life of our region.
This 25 km long cycling and walking route leads you through the church villages and hamlets in the Meuse valley of the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten. The route is signposted under the name Discover Eijsden aan de Maas. In principle, you can leave in any core. The route is also suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users and takes you past various catering establishments with terraces.
