Starting in the village of Dwingeloo, you cycle on to the Dwingelderveld National Park.
The core of the 3,692-hectare Dwingelderveld National Park is a wet heathland area between Dwingeloo and Ruinen; the largest in Europe. The area is surrounded by forests, stream valleys, and arable land.
You will also pass through the village of Pesse and the brink village of Ruinen.
