From the main train station in Groningen, you walk along the Hoornse Diep towards Hoornse Dijk and the Hoornse Meer. Over bridges, gravel, gravel paths, and bike paths, you will pass the Vosbergen Museum. After crossing the Drentsche Aa, you have two options. You can go to the Schathuis, which was built on the foundations of a castle destroyed in 1227, or you can hike through the beautiful Quintus Forest to Glimmen.
