The Umweg Weende is a circular path through the valley landscape of the Ruiten Aa. A beautiful and protected nature reserve. You hike through a centuries-old and varied cultural landscape. Low-lying meadows alternate with higher-lying ash trees and forests. You even walk for a bit through primeval forest. The Liefstinghsbroek is one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands.
