This walk leads along six beautiful villages, each with a magnificent old church. The paths are quiet and often winding. You can recognize the old course of former brooks and embankments. In addition to the Wierdedorpen, you will also pass other highlights. For example, in Loppersum, the Spoorzicht Hotel from 1890 (a former relay station for coach horses in Art Nouveau style) and in Eenum, the Eenumerhöhe. At 5.3 meters, this is the highest Wierde in the province. The park-like forest with various structures in Ekenstein is also very worthwhile.
