This cycle route has a traditional Dutch character. The route leads through the beautiful polder area of South Holland. Was recorded with gps on 14 September 2019 AND 21 December 2019 Uploaded https://www.nederlandfietsland.nl/knooppuntroutes/molen-fietsroute-kinderdijk

Starting at the Zuiderstek in Alblasserdam you cycle along the beautiful windmills of the world famous Kinderdijk. Via Groot-Ammers, Nieuwpoort, Langerak, Goudriaan, Vuilendam, Bleskensgraaf and Oud-Alblas you will return to your starting point. While cycling, the landscape tells the story of this unique landscape. The mills (and today the pumping stations) make it possible for us Dutch to live below sea level.
