This walking tour, rich in fens, goes through the nature reserves Oisterwijkse Bossen and Vennen, the Kampina and through the Rozephoeve estate. The nature reserve Oisterwijkse Bossen en Vennen is a vast varied forest area with many fens, which the name also indicates. The Kampina is a varied nature reserve with a vast heathland, coniferous forest but also many fens. Landgoed Rozephoeve is a small forest area in the vicinity of the Rozephoeve. Not all but the most beautiful fens such as the Voorste Goorven, Witven and Van Esschenven in the nature reserve Oisterwijkse Bossen en Vennen and the Belversven and the Brandven on the Kampina are visited. Especially the somewhat larger fens the Voorste Goorven and the Van Esschenven are particularly attractive because of their heavily wooded, jagged banks and the small islands. Common in the three areas is the stream the Rosep, during the trip one passes three times large stretches of this stream. 88% of this hike is unpaved.
