From/to: start at parking lot* t.o. Ludenlaan 1, 3941 CN Doorn, municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, The Netherlands. Free parking.

Beautiful circular walk through the Ludenbos in Doorn, over the Asparagus field, via a steep staircase with 170 steps down to the Zanderij Maarn and the Zwerfsteneneiland, and back over Hoog Moersbergen and the Zonheuvel. Detailed information about the geology and history of this wooded area in particular is given under Sights. In short, at any time of the year a nice introduction to the hilly terrain in this part of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park (free admission).

* Restaurants and cafes are located 750 metres from the car park in the centre of Doorn.
