Train: Maarn railway station, the Netherlands (with local train from Utrecht).

In every season a beautiful circular walk in the wooded National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug (free admission). You will pass a watchtower in the Kaapse Bossen, the Maarsbergse eng, a burial mound and two railway stations in Maarn. On the way back you will walk on former municipal boundaries, past the place where the train used to stop, along the Asparagus field and through the old Ludenbos in Doorn.
