The route starts from the church in Helenaveen and goes clockwise. 41% of the route is unpaved. You cycle over unpaved roads (mainly gravel roads) along the Mariapeel, past the Zwarte Plak heath, through the Schadijkse Woods, through the nature reserve Groote Broek, over a gravel bike path through the valley of the Groote Molenbeek, past the ruins of the castle of Horst, through agricultural land around Horst, through the nature reserve Reulsberg, around Sevenum, through the nature reserve Heesberg and Gelderse Heide, through the Breedschen Peel and finally end with a stretch of gravel road along the Helenavaart in Helenaveen.
