The route goes along the Groote Peel, and via the hinterland of Ospeldijk towards Heibloem. You then cycle north along the Leudal to Neer. From Neer to Maasbree, the landscape is slightly hilly by the Meuse and streams that flow into the Meuse. This also means that you sometimes have to climb a short distance (over a few tens of meters), such as at Neer in the passage over the high bank of the Meuse. From Kessel-Eik to the hamlet of Rinkesfort you also cycle on various back roads that are not in other routes of TWC 't Ventieleke until now (October 2021). And that also means a lot of bending, and crossing a busy main road several times.

Via Kessel-Eik and the hamlet of Spurkt, the route goes towards the Begijnenberg (an old river dune) and then east of Baarlo along the Maas. Via castle de Berckt you cycle halfway around the Dubbroek nature reserve. Then you go via the hamlet of Rinkesfort to Koningslust. The route continues just north of Beringe, and east around Meijel to Neerkant and then back to Heusden.
