Barão de São João is a Portuguese locality and a former parish in the municipality of Lagos. On an area of 51.9 km², it had a population of 894 inhabitants.
As part of the administrative reform in Portugal on September 29, 2013, the parishes of Barão de São João and Bensafrim were merged into the new parish União das Freguesias de Bensafrim e Barão de São João. Bensafrim became the seat of the parish, while the previous parish administration in Barão de São João remained as a branch and citizen office.
