On clear blue days the entire area can be seen clearly from this point. To the west you see the Monchique mountains, to the north and east the Sierra de Calderao, border between Alentejo and Algarve, and to the south you see the (fully built) coastal strip. If you look closely you can still see the silver-colored shimmer of the ocean stand out against the deep blue Algarvian sky. Also a nice point to watch the sunset, but remember that it gets dark quickly here and the way back is unlit!
