Quinta do Seixo (Sandeman) - Pinhão

Quinta do Seixo, the Sandeman estate in Pinhão , is one of the best-known and most visited wineries of this historic port wine producer.

It is a historic wine quinta (wine estate) in the heart of the Douro Valley, with spectacular views over the river and the terraces. It is owned by Sandeman , one of the oldest and most iconic port wine brands in Portugal (since 1790). It produces Sandeman Ports , mainly Vintage , Tawny and Ruby ports.

The estate also plays a role in preserving the UNESCO World Heritage status of the Douro region.

From afar you will recognize the mysterious figure in a black cape and Spanish hat, called "The Don" — a symbol of elegance, tradition and mysticism. You can take a guided tour and visit the wine cellars, taste the wine, eat in the restaurant ... all with a stunning view of the Douro wine terraces.
