The eleventh stage of the Caminho Nascente goes through a beautiful mountainous landscape again. Along the way, there are many viewpoints, small picturesque villages, and the scenery often resembles a postcard. The first half goes up and down quite a bit, but nowhere is it too steep. Halfway through, Mêda has all the facilities for a break. After that, the route descends near Santo Amaro. After crossing the Douro, there is a solid climb to Torre Moncorvo, but the ascent does not exceed 5% anywhere.
