Wat Pho Rang or the "Monastery of the Bodhi Tree" is today not more than a brick mound with a commemoration vihara in situ, situated on the right bank of the old Lopburi River in Pho Sam Ton Sub-district of Bang Pahan in Ayutthaya Province. Wat Pho Rang was before the common temple of the Pho Sam Ton community in the Ayutthayan era (1350-1767 AD). The temple was dismantled by the Burmese during the war of 1766-67 to use the bricks for the construction of the Burmese camp just north of its location.
