Situated to the northeast of Wat Singha and facing eastwards, Wat Kamphaeng Ngam was built aligned on an east-west axis. Enclosed with a laterite wall, all buildings were made of laterite. A low boundary wall surrounded its principal chedi and vihara, while its ordination hall was built outside the boundary wall towards the east. A base of the vihara was constructed in the form of a lotus decorated with a ring-like moulding with front and back porches. The main Buddha image inside the vihara was destroyed entirely. Behind the vihara base are remains of the principal chedi built of laterite in a circular or bell shape on a square base. Only its three-tiered structure in the form of an overturned lotus is still in existence. The body of the principal chedi of Wat Singha and Wat Kamphaeng Ngam was the same but the lower base of the latter was not provided with niches on four sides.
