Wat Sang Kratai, called before Wat Sam Kratai or the Monastery of the Three Rabbits, is a temple ruin located in Sala Daeng district of Ang Thong. The ruined monastic hall features three chambers of which two houses Buddha images. Roots of trees are nestled upon the brickwork, creating an art of nature. The temple has been abandoned more than 100 years ago. Following the legend, the spirits of the place were so strong that there was permanently infighting between the monks, resulting in the location left to nature. A new temple was built for the local community in another location and called Wat Phai Lom.
