West Chester East High School is a public four-year high school located in West Goshen Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States, near West Chester.
Established in 1973 as the second high school in the West Chester Area School District , East is one of three high schools currently operating in the West Chester area . Newsweek ranked East 420 out of the top 1,000 high schools in America in 2015. East also earned a rank of 36 in Philadelphia Magazine's overview of the best 100 public schools in the Philadelphia area in 2012.
