Alta Via Walks

The Alta Via hikes (Italian for “high road” or “high route”) are a network of multi-day mountain hiking trails that run high through the Italian Alps, particularly known in the Dolomites and the Valle d'Aosta. They are designed to stay above the tree line as much as possible, avoid villages, and lead hikers past spectacular mountain landscapes, huts, and historic paths.
