Canada Farm Cemetery was started with the Mine Battle (7 June 1917) and would be used until the end of the Third Battle of Ypres. Most of the deaths came from the casualty clearing station, which was installed on a nearby Canada Farm. Here lie mainly men of the 'Royal Artillery' (438) and of the 'Guards Division' (144), who were mortally wounded during the beginning of the Third Battle of Ypres and were brought back for care. Some graves were added after the offensive.
