On october 13, a collaboration started between College KaHo Sint-Lieven, Dpt. Industrial Engineering, in Ghent (Greet Vanden Berghe, Wouter Souffriau), Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Centrum voor Industrieel Beleid (Pieter Vansteenwegen, Dirk Van Oudheusden) and Ontrack Navigation. This collaboration will result in a demo of the routing algorithm/heuristic developed by Pieter Vanstenwegen and Wouter Souffriau applied on the data of Ontrack Navigation. A user will be offered a route, on the fly calculated, based on the start-postion, time-limits and indicated interests for city-walks, biycle tours and motortours. The routing heuristic is based on Guided Local Search It will be demonstrated on the 21st of Decemeber (check out the upcoming news 'Ontrack Navigation guides you through the darkest night of the year').
