The general RouteYou heatmaps give you a quick insight into the most popular segments of the route network. The more 'heat' you see, the more routes pass through that specific segment. This is a handy tool for identifying frequently used paths or for exploring new ones.

The underlying idea of the personal heatmaps is the same, only they are exclusive to each user. Your personal heatmap only depicts your own activity and is not accessible to others on the platform. By default, you get a view of all your routes, but in the route planner you can also filter your personal heatmap by route type.

You must have a RouteYou Plus account to access your personal heatmaps.
